One of the key phases of H-CARE project is associated with the so-called testing or piloting of the training materials developed within the project. It is important to note that at this stage the upcoming training will be free for all approved participants and the costs associated with it will be at the H-CAREproject expense.
Everyone who is willing and able to engage in training for trade with technical aids and nutritional supplementscan apply for participation in this phase. The applicants have to contact one of the project partners using the contact details provided in this site. It is also necessary to fill in the Application Form. You can download it from hereor request to receive it via email.
Anyone aged 18with completed at least secondary educationcan apply to participate in the pilot phase of the H-CARE project.Applications of candidates with disabilities and unemployed persons will be considered a priority. A committee, whose members are representatives of the team working on the project, will make the selection of the participants.
Recruiting of applicants to participate in the pilot phase started inOctober 2015 and will finish at the end ofJanuary 2016. The results and the list of approved candidates will be published on the website of H-CARE project (www.healthcaresales.eu) and on the website of the coordinator of the piloting in Bulgaria – Zgura-M, Ltd.(www.zgura-m.eu).
In February-May 2016,the approved candidates will have the opportunity to undergo pilot training including learning via e-learning platform and training sessions in small groups. In addition, participants will have the possibily to test their skills at the beginning and end of the training. Those, who successfully pass the final assessment test, will receive a Certificate of Participation in Vocational Training Course.

Gabriela Ciobanu, Maria Harja, Octavian Ciobanu from TUIasi have presented “Use of the Information Concerning the Products Manufacturing in Innovative Learning and Education Programme for Health Care Sector” during International Conference on Innovative Manufacturing Engineering – IManE. The event was held on 20-22 May 2015 in Iasi, Romania.

H-CARE project concept has been awarded with Gold medal during European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation – EUROINVENT, VIIth Edition. It was held in Iasi, Romania in the period 14-16 May 2015. The project has been presented by the TUIasi team – Gabriela Ciobanu, Simona Barna, Constantin Luca, Maria Harja, Anca Mihaela Mocanu.

H-CARE project has been presented during 7th International Conference on SEA Events (Sharing, Empower, Awareness) – “Interdisciplinary approaches between traditional and modern methods”. The event was held on 24-25 April 2015 in Iasi, Romania. Prof. PhD Gabriela Chobanu and her team from TUIasi presented the project. Contacts with project main stakeholders has been made as well as new representatives for the National Advisory Board of Romania were invited.

The 4th European Fair of social economy enterprises took place on 26-29 March, 2015 in Plovdiv. Zgura-M company participated with its own stand at the exhibition, where visitors had the opportunity to learn about the training materials developed in the framework of international initiatives funded by Lifelong Learning Programme.
Visits to our stand exceeded 250 a day, and among the projects of great interest was H-CARE. The exhibition was accompanied by thematic roundtables and discussions. In addition, visitors could ask questions and commented on the content of the presented on the stands goods and services. And during the four days of the exhibition the team of Zgura-M company answered numerous questions in relation to opportunities for participation in the forthcoming training for the new profession of a “Salesperson of medical devices, assistive technologies and food supplements”.
Among the visitors to the stand was a representative of the Health Portal zdrave.net. After an interview with a representative of Zgura-M an article about the project was published in the portal. The material was one of the most read and most commented according to the journalist Nevena Popova.
The “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, as 3rd Rate Partner in the European Project “Launching of Sector Skills Alliance for Training & Apprenticeship of Health Care and Food Supplements Salespersons” H-CARE, is organizing the second meeting session of the National Advisory Board (NAB) on Thursday, the 25th of March 2015, starting at 10:00, in the Faculty’s Council Hall.
On the occasion of the event, the team’s accomplishments from the 1st of January to the 31st of December 2014 are to be presented, as well as the task report for the year 2015.
The following Work Packages’ (WP) issues will also be discussed:
WP1. Project Management:
– The action plan including tasks, activities and deadlines for 2015;
– The work plan including responsibility assignment for each WP, with deadlines for 2015;
– Administrative and financial issues.
WP3. CURRICULUM draft for “Health care and food supplement salesperson”
– he presentation of the 9 Curriculum modules: chapters, articles, objectives, strategies, targets, evaluations
WP 8. Project Achievements Dissemination
– The presentation of the project achievements for 2014;
– The presentation of the strategy and dissemination plan for 2015;

The project was launched in Romania at the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Protection in the 14th of March 2014 and it will be concluded on the 20th of June 2016.

On 31 March 2015 the third meeting of the Bulgarian national advisory board was held. There were representatives from VET centers, chairperson of the national committee in the field of Health care, chairperson of the national committee in the field of Trade, medical doctors, representative from the one of the biggest nutrition providers as well as professionals working with people with disabilities. Other members of the advisory board from the trade companies provided their feedback on the job profile development by completed thorough questionnaire which has been summarized and presented to the audience. The event was hosted by National Agency for Vocational Education and Training. The team of ZGURA-M presented the latest version of the H-CARE curriculum and the plans for the development of the H-CARE training modules. Then Mrs. Nikolova and Mr. Boyanov from NAVET presented the revised and enhanced version of the job profile in Bulgarian. The participants agreed on its new version which will be also soon available in English and presented for the Progress report to EACEA.
The next meeting is scheduled for 25 & 26 September 2015 when the draft version of the training modules will be ready for review and provision of a feedback.
